Kingsway City Shopping Centre commenced trading in March 1996.The centre was officially opened on Tuesday 7th May 1996 by the Premier of Western Australia, the Hon. Richard Court and the Mayor of the City of Wanneroo, CR Arnold Dammers. Over the past 21 years the business has continued to mature along with its expanding younger demographic market, extensive new residential developments and supporting infrastructure such as schools, retirement villages, sporting and community centres.
The Property Council of Australia classes Kingsway City as a Sub Regional Shopping Centre. The Gross Lettable Area currently measures 24,389.45 square meters including all external tenancies. We currently have a total of 17,721.45 square meters of retail space that is reporting towards our total Centre revenue.
The Centre is located approximately 22 kilometres north of the Perth CBD, along the northern corridor in the City of Wanneroo. The Centre’s primary and secondary markets comprise approximately 188,785 residents (based on 2015 City of Wanneroo Population Data).
